Jennifer Beattie joins Man City after 18 months at Montpellier
SCOTLAND central defender Jennifer Beattie is to join Manchester City next month.
The 23-year-old former Arsenal player returns to the Women's Super League after 18 months at French club Montpellier.
Beattie, whose brother Johnnie is a Scotland rugby international, has several winners' medals from her last spell in England.
"Once you've had that taste of success you want it more and more," she said.
"City have their targets set on winning trophies and that's the kind of club I want to be at.
"The facilities at the club are just unbelievable. I'm ready for a new challenge, and I'm looking forward to returning to the WSL."
