KENNY MILLER has called time on his Scotland career - 12 years after first pulling on the Dark Blue and just nine days after scoring against England at Wembley.
Gordon Strachan was expected to confirm the 33-year-old striker's decision to retire from national service when announcing his squad for next month's World Cup qualifiers against Belgium and Macedonia.
Miller is finding the travelling to Scotland from Canada, where he plays for Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS, more and more difficult.
Strachan is an admirer of the veteran striker, who he previously signed while manager of Celtic, and indicated he would continue to select Miller until such time as younger strikers showed him they had more to offer, or the veteran decided he had had enough.
