JOSH MAGENNIS has been cleared of any wrongdoing by the Scottish Football Association following a heated exchange with his Kilmarnock team-mate Jamie Hamill.
The Northern Irishman squared up to Hamill during his side's 4-1 league win at Partick Thistle on Saturday with his head appearing to make contact with the midfielder's nose.
Tony McGlennan, the SFA Compliance Officer, offered Magennis a two-match suspension, which was duly contested by the Ayrshire club, and a tribunal has since decided that he has no case to answer.
"I understand why the incident was highlighted, but I am really glad the decision was overturned and I can now concentrate on my football," said Magennis.
