FORMER Scotland and Dundee United star Billy McKinlay was last night named new Watford manager after Oscar Garcia quit because of ill health.
McKinlay, 45, was brought in as first-team coach last week. He said: "I had mixed emotions. It was Oscar who brought me here.
"But when the owner asked me to take over it was an easy decision."
