BSC GLASGOW boss John Brogan insists his players will travel to Dalbeattie today in a positive mood despite two heavy defeats in a row.

The Lowland League's new boys lost 6-0 away to Gretna 2008 on Wednesday after a 4-1 defeat at Whitehill last weekend. But Brogan has told his players not to dwell on any negatives.

He said: "The recent defeats have been very sore and we are hurting. But we can't feel sorry for ourselves. We have to get up and get on with it.

"We knew Gretna and Whitehill would be tough and we were taught a few lessons. But we have to remember both of those clubs have had years to build a team.

"They only had to tinker with their squads over the summer."

"We had to start from scratch, so it's only natural that we have a bit of catching up to do. That said, we will get there.

"There is a collective determination at this club to succeed and we will.

"But it won't happen overnight. It will take time and patience.

"That, of course, is the bigger picture. Just now we have to concentrate on trying to get a positive league result against Dalbeattie Star."

The ex-St Johnstone star and Stirling Albion boss said: "It's another away game and it would be nice for us to clock up our first point or victory on the road. We're ready.

"There will not be any hangover for us from the previous two games."
