CELTIC have been involved in many high-scoring victories over the years, one of which came in the 1968-69 season against Hamilton Accies...

FELIX McCANN (Lesmahagow) - I remember Celtic defeated Hamilton Accies 10-0 in a League Cup tie in the late Sixties, did a young Kenny Dalglish play in this game?

No he didn't. This was a quarter-final first-leg game in 1968-69.

Kenny did, however, play in the second leg at Douglas Park.

Celtic won this game 4-2, to go through on a 14-2 aggregate.

They went on to win the trophy defeating Hibernian in the final.

WILLIE (Dennistoun) - How many games did Russian (Ukraine now) pair, Oleg Kuznetsov and Alexei

Mikhailichenko play for Rangers in the 1990s?

Due to injury, Kuznetsov only managed 35 games and one goal in his four years at Ibrox.

His fellow countryman Mikhailichenko played a total of 134 times and scored 24 times during his five years at the club.

JOHN (Knightswood) - Did Manchester United manager David Moyes and Rangers manager Ally McCoist ever play in the same Scotland team?

In fact they did. Both men represented Scotland in an International Youth Tournament in Monaco during November 1980.

David was with Celtic and Ally was with St Johnstone at the time, and both of them played in all three matches.

Scotland lost the first game 1-0 to Germany.

In the second match David captained the side to a 2-0 victory against Switzerland and he and Ally scored the goals.

The third game ended in a 1-1 draw against France and once again David captained the team and Ally scored Scotland's goal.

HUGH (Cambuslang) - Young Andrew Robertson, the ex-Queen's Park player, won his first full international cap for Scotland against Poland last week. Can you tell me who was the last ex-Queen's Park player to be capped for Scotland?

Probably the last player to win a full Scotland cap was Malky Mackay, the former Cardiff City manager.

Malky played for Queen's Park, Celtic, Norwich City, West Ham and Watford.

Malky won the last of his five caps against Slovenia at Hampden Park on September 8, 2004.

The match was a World Cup qualifier under the management of Berti Vogts and ended in a 0-0 draw.
