Pep Guardiola masterminded a 2-0 victory for Bayern Munich over his former club Barcelona last night.
Philipp Lahm and Mario Mandzukic were the scorers for a strong Bayern side who appear ready to build on their treble-winning 2012-13 season.
Barcelona's new manager Gerardo Martino is due to arrive at the Nou Camp today and will officially sign a two-year contract with the Catalan giants tomorrow. The 50-year-old Argentinian takes over from Tito Vilanova who stepped down last week after just one year in charge to continue his battle against cancer.
