FEW Scottish football fans predicted that Raith Rovers would overcome Hibs at Easter Road in the William Hill Scottish Cup.
The Stark's Park club had, after all, not scored a goal this YEAR. They had not been on target in five games.
But Grant Murray's side ran out deserved 3-2 winners over Terry Butcher's team to book their place in the last eight.
It was a reminder to Rangers that they do not just have to turn up in the Ramsdens Cup final at Easter Road in April and lift the trophy.
But I am sure that Ally McCoist and his players will not go into that game thinking that it is already won.
Raith showed at the weekend they have quality players and can, on their day, take on Rangers and beat them.
