I've found Ronny Deila's attitude refreshing this season as he has vocalised his desire to win a domestic Treble.

So often we have managers who are afraid to commit to that ambition publicly so it has been nice to hear him embrace the challenge - and do so openly. I don't think it is arrogant or boastful, I just find it candid and honest.

But if they are to realise that ambition then this weekend is huge. And last weekend will have served as a reminder that Inverness Caledonian Thistle will provide some kind of resistance to them at Hampden.

There are no teams who would find it a stroll in a Scottish Cup semi-final against John Hughes' side.

He has a fine team, their football is relatively fluent, they have had a good season and I suspect they would cause problems for any Scottish team at the minute.

That's not to say that I don't think Celtic will win the game. I think they will come through the tie but it will not be a cake-walk by any means.

Inverness have enough quality within their team to make sure that they stay in the game and they won't allow Celtic to run over the top of them.

I suspect that Deila's side will ultimately be too much for Inverness but they will also need their key men to stand up and put in a strong display.

By that I am talking about guys like Stefan Johansen and Scott Brown who will be critical in the middle of the park.

I also suspect that Leigh Griffiths will have played his way into the starting line-up following his midweek goals against Kilmarnock.

I have always liked Griffiths as a player and think he is a far better fit for Celtic than John Guidetti is. To me, the former Hibs striker sits nicely into the way that Deila wants to set his team up - and I have thought that since the start of the season.

Guidetti stole all the headlines in the autumn when he went through a real purple patch but, interestingly, he has been unable to sustain that. Where Celtic fans chatter in the early months of the season was all about trying to keep the Swedish forward at the club, that talk seems to have died down considerably.

I actually think that Griffiths, if he keeps his head down and takes on board the advice of his manager, can go on to be one of Celtic's key players for the next two, three or even four years.

He is an instinctive striker as the goals he got on Wednesday night show. He is in there on merit and I do think that you can see the improvements in his game over the last few months.

I did laugh when I read his comments about bettering Adam Rooney's goal tally this season. We will never know whether or not he is right but he certainly does not lack any confidence.

He can go on to be a super Celtic forward if he is receptive to the advice of his manager.
