INJURY robbed Richard Pankhurst of his chance of Classic glory but he can continue to make up for lost time in the EBF Stallions Hyde Stakes at Kempton.

A Listed fast-track qualifier for the All Weather Championships in November was probably not what John Gosden had envisioned for his charge at the start of the campaign, but Richard Pankhurst should nevertheless take plenty of beating.

Winner of the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot last year, the Raven's Pass colt was not sighted again until tackling a Haydock conditions event on unsuitably easy ground in September.

Despite concerns about the good to soft going, Richard Pankhurst dug deep to repel a fine yardstick in Dark Emerald by a short head and he would surely have made good progress since that outing.

He steps up to a mile for the first time here but the extra furlong should present few problems and while the Polytrack is a minor question mark, Richard Pankhurst will doubtless have trained on a similar surface at least.

Percy Veer takes a step up in class for the 32Red Handicap but given his excellent form this term, he can take such a jump in his stride.

A winner at Lingfield in both June and July, Percy Veer acquitted himself with credit in a handful of turf starts before really thriving again for a switch back to the all weather.

He ran out a four-length winner over Seaside Sizzler at Chelmsford earlier this month and given the fact he won with his ears pricked, an 8lb hike might still not anchor him fully here.

Clowance One has just one win to his name but he can double that tally back on the all weather in the 32Red.com Handicap.

He claimed a cosy success at Kempton last month and while he was a bit disappointing back on the turf at Newmarket last time, neither the ground or the track looked ideal for him.

Bristol De Mai boasts some top-class form and it will be disappointing if he cannot come home first in the Highflyer/Million In Mind 4 & 5yo Novices' Chase at Warwick.

Among the leading juvenile hurdlers last term, Bristol De Mai won a Grade One event at Chepstow last Christmas before going on to chase home All Yours at Aintree on his final start of the campaign.

He was unfortunate to bump into Garde La Victoire on his chasing bow at Uttoxeter last month, but he did not really help himself by racing a touch keenly before being beaten seven lengths.

That form got a boost when Garde La Victoire powered home at Cheltenham over the weekend and Nigel Twiston-Davies must surely be hoping for the best here.

Ok Corral, a 90,000 euro purchase a couple of years ago, can make a winning bow over obstacles in the PJ & KR Smith-Maxwell Horse Ambulances "National Hunt" Novices' Hurdle.

He won one of two bumper starts last term but should surely improve with something to jump as he hails from the family of Tidal Bay.

Crack Of Thunder can strike in Chepstow's Dribuild Construction Handicap Chase, while Teochew is taken to land the Pam Enderby 100th Birthday Handicap Chase at Hexham.
