The French Grand Prix will return to Formula One after a 10-year absence in 2018, organisers have announced.
The race, last held at Magny-Cours in central France in 2008, will take place at Circuit Paul Ricard, which most recently staged the event in 1990. The track is between Marseille and Toulon on the Cote d'Azur.
The return of the race was announced in Paris on Monday by the president of the regional authority of Provence and the Cote d'Azur.
Christian Estrosi wrote on Twitter: "After 10 years of absence, it is the return of the #F1 in France. The grand prix will take place on the @PaulRicardTrack."
