THE SFA is set to throw the book at everyone involved in last week's fracas at Easter Road.

Jim Duffy, the Morton manager, his assistant Craig MacPherson, and the Greenock club as whole will be asked to defend several charges of misconduct.

Similarly, Neil Lennon as an individual and Hibernian as a club have also been issued Notices of Complaint by the Compliance Officer.

All parties have until next week, Tuesday, April 11, to respond. The principal hearing date will be April, 20.

In a SFA statement issued on Tuesday afternoon, Lennon was alleged to breached three disciplinary rules; adopting an aggressive attitude to Morton's Kudus Oyenuga, also to Duffy and a member of his staff and to the match officials following Darren McGregor's red card.

For their part, Duffy and MacPherson face charges of entering the technical area of Hibs and of adopting an aggressive manner towards Lennon on the 93rd minute of the match.

Hibs and Morton will have to answer the accusations that both clubs had three more more members of the staff were involved in the confrontations.

In a club statement, Morton said: "Greenock Morton can confirm that we have today received three separate notices of complaint from the Scottish Football Association in relation to last Wednesday’s Ladbrokes Championship fixture against Hibernian.

"The football club, manager Jim Duffy, and assistant manager Craig McPherson have each been charged with a breach of disciplinary rules by the SFA compliance officer and have been asked to attend a principal hearing on Thursday 20 April.

"Neither the club nor our coaching staff will make any further comment."
