THE 161st Coral Scottish Grand National takes place this weekend in Ayr.
It will be the 53rd time that the event is hosted at Ayr Racecourse, with a field of 30 horses taking to the track to jump 27 fences.

The last two years have been dominated by Vicente, trained by Paul Nicholls, who is bidding for a third straight title.
Jockey Sam Twiston-Davies is also chasing a third win, which would make him the joint-top Scottish Grand National jockey at Ayr level with Mark Dwyer.
The 2018 Coral Scottish Grand National will be broadcast live on ITV, at 4.05pm on Saturday 21st April.
