TIGER Woods has confirmed his entry into The Open at Carnoustie this July.
The 42-year-old will tee off in Scotland at the 147th edition of the championship he previously won in 2000, 2005 and 2006.
It will be his 19th appearance at The Open but his first in three years after missing the last two editions at Royal Troon and Royal Birkdale.

The golfing legend was present at the last two editions held in Carnoustie, finishing seventh in 1999 and 12th in 2007.
The tournament wil take place from 15-22 July.
