FINNISH racer Tero Aarnio has signed for Glasgow Tigers after Danish youngster Anders Thomsen left the club.

Aarnio, 30, joins the side for their trip to Workington tomorrow.

It comes after Thomsen, 20, stood down from racing in Britain this year, having found it difficult to cover the costs of participating in the sport in this country.

The Tigers will be without Swede Victor Palovaara for tomorrow's visit to Cumbria.
