Braehead Clan's seven-game winning streak came to an end last night in Belfast.
Sitting top of the league before play, they went down 4-1 to the Giants, who are now level at the summit of the EIHL.
Ryan Finnerty's men will welcome Dundee Stars to the Braehead Arena tonight on Challenge Cup duty, before heading to Hull in league action tomorrow.
GRAND PRIX: Formula One's sparring championship protagonists Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg again proved there is little to separate them.
In-form Hamilton emerged top dog from Rosberg at the end of yesterday's two practice sessions for the United States Grand Prix by a hair's breadth, just three thousandths of a second.
Hamilton's day ended under a slight cloud as his car encountered a hydraulic problem with 20 minutes remaining, bringing an early end to his day's running.
