BRAEHEAD CLAN crashed out of the Challenge Cup at the quarter-final stage after losing 2-1 to Coventry Blaze in a dramatic shoot-out.
Ryan Finnerty's EIHL table-toppers went down 3-1 in their home tie, having won the first leg by the same scoreline.
Clan's scorer was Scott Aarssen, with James Griffin, Ashley Tait and Ross Venus on target for the visitors.
