Braehead Clan have signed 23-year-old Canadian star Joel Champagne.
The big centre joins the Glasgow ice hockey club from American EHCL outfit Reading Royals.
Quebec-born Champagne scored 18 goals and 31 assists for Royals last season, for 49 pts from 68 games.
Champagne has also played for leading American Hockey League side Milwakee Admirals and Cincinnati Cyclones.
Clan head coach Ryan Finnerty is delighted with the signing.
He said: "Joel is a big two-way centre. His size and speed will be a huge asset for us down the middle. I'm looking forward to working with him this season."
Champagne added: "I am looking forward to joining the Clan and making the move to Glasgow. I am excited about the new season."
