BRAEHEAD CLAN made it three wins out of three in Challenge Cup Group A after weekend wins over Belfast and Edinburgh.
Derek Roehl, Stefan Meyer and Matt Keith netted in a 3-0 win at Capitals last night as their Scottish rivals were shut out on home ice.
On Saturday night, Neil Trimm's overtime winner gave Ryan Finnerty's men a huge 4-3 win at Belfast Giants.
An early breakaway saw the Clan go ahead with Meyer finishing the quick move on 1:48.
Lee Esders had the travelling Clan fans in dreamland with a second goal as Braehead piled the pressure on in the opening stages.
Then Leigh Salters added a third during the middle period to make it 3-0 on the powerplay.
Belfast hit back to level through Colin Shields (2) and Jeff Mason.
However, Trimm came up trumps 34 seconds into overtime, sealing a second group win over the Giants.
