Fleming at the double

Scotland's Colin Fleming won his second tennis tour title of the year, partnering India's Rohan Bopanna to a 6-4, 7-6 (7/3) victory over top seeds Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer in the final of the Marseille Open.

In the men's singles, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga came from a set down to delight the home fans with a 6-3, 6-7 (6-8), 6-4 victory over Tomas Berdych.

David Ferrer beat Stanislas Wawrinka 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 at the Copa Claro, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Roger Federer, meanwhile, is to take a two-month break to spend time with his family after Indian Wells in March.

CYCLING: Becky James stormed to victory in the keirin for her second world title in 24 hours in Minsk as she became the first British rider to win four medals at a single World Championships.

BASKETBALL: Glasgow Rocks were beaten 76-72 at home to Leicester Riders.

ICE HOCKEY: Braehead Clan lost 3-2 at Hull.
