TODAY'S speedway meeting between Glasgow Tigers and Rye House Rockets was postponed due to rain.
The fixture was called off this morning after overnight downpours had left the track waterlogged.
And, with further wet weather predicted for the rest of the afternoon, the decision was taken to put the meeting off before riders and fans had started to travel to the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium.
It means the Tigers will have to wait another week to get their Premier League campaign underway, when Plymouth Devils visit next Sunday. Then, on Tuesday May 12, the Sky Sports cameras are in town for the meeting with Sheffield Tigers (7.30pm start).
A rescheduling date for today's match is yet to be confirmed.
