Jose Mourinho has compared Paul Lambert to himself after the Scot reacted angrily during Chelsea's 2-1 over Aston Villa last night.
The Villa boss was left fuming at calls not given at Stamford Bridge, including claims winning goalscorer Branislav Ivanovic should have been sent off for elbowing Christian Benteke, as well as appeals for a late penalty with the ball appearing to strike John Terry's arm.
"Paul reminds me of me at his age," said Mourinho. "Now I complain with some decisions, at his age I complained at every decision. Paul complains at every decision, I was the same. Benteke and Ivanovic, they are two giants, it was 50/50.
"Normally matches in the Bernabeu we (Real Madrid) win every match very comfortable, this was very hard."
Lambert added: "The penalty was a penalty, everybody saw that. He (ref Kevin Friend) missed two huge moments."
Meanwhile, Mourinho revealed Chelsea will wait until after Monday's match with Manchester United to make a third approach for transfer target Wayne Rooney.
