MAJEYDA may be returning from a lengthy absence, but she appears the class act in the 32Red Fillies' Conditions Stakes at Wolverhampton.

Charlie Appleby has made no secret of his desire to get a few runners qualified for All Weather Championships Finals day and this Fast Track qualifier offers Majeyda an ideal opportunity to book her ticket for the Good Friday card.

She has clearly had her issues, though, as she has not been sighted since finishing down the field in a Listed event at Royal Ascot back in June.

The Street Cry filly had been viewed as a Classic contender at the start of the season and she shaped with promise when third in the Nell Gwyn, beaten just half a length, before going on to tackle the 1000 Guineas.

She was far from disgraced in being beaten just over four lengths in sixth by Miss France, which made her Ascot run all the more disappointing, in some respects.

Majeyda still boasts a mark of 103, though, which puts her upwards of 7lb higher than all of her rivals and well treated under the conditions of the race.

Almanack is the pick in the Ladbrokes Handicap after scoring at this track last month.

He triumphed in an extended mile affair that day, convincingly stepping up from seven furlongs and appearing to be suited by the switch.

However, he did not fare so well at Lingfield last time, having to settle for third behind Heisman after putting in all his best work at the finish.

His strong staying qualities were on view that day and a switch back up to the marginally longer trip here is a big positive.

Mount Haven is the pick as he makes the long trip north from David Pipe's yard to Musselburgh for the Cornhill Building Services Ltd Maiden Hurdle.

Paul Nicholls pitches Saphir Du Rheu straight into Grade Two company as he makes the switch to fences in the Fuller's London Pride Novices' Chase at Newbury.
