ANDY MURRAY was over the moon today - after becoming the latest poster boy of the ATP tour.

The Scot was shown howling at a tennis ball in the shape of the moon in a parody of hit film An American Werewolf in Paris as part of the promotion for the BNP Paris Masters which starts today.

Murray has been mocked up as 'A Scottish Tennis-Pro in Paris' in the latest piece of work by designer Nial Smith, with Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic also making an appearance.

Murray is due on court today as he continues his marathon end-of-season bid to make the ATP Tour Finals in London next month.

The British No.1 has won his last two tournaments - the Shanghai Masters and the Valencia Open - as he attempts to rack up the points he needs to be one of eight qualifiers taking part in the lucrative tournament at the O2.

And he's hoping to continue his brilliant run of form when he taken on The Scot faces Frenchman Julien Benneteau in the first round.

He said: "I'm obviously on a good run at the moment but Julien is a very tough player. And the fact he is French means he will have the crowd behind him.

"So I know I will have to be at the top of my game to win and get through to the next round. I know what's a stake in this tournament."

Murray can seal qualification for the ATP World Tour Finals by reaching the quarter-finals in Paris. He is fifth in the race to qualify and his hopes of making the end-of-season event have been boosted by World No.3 Rafael Nadal's withdrawal.

But the Scot is refusing to take anything for granted.

He said: "I am only focused on one game at a time and I'll see where it takes me."

"My expectations this week aren't incredibly high," Murray added. "I would imagine I'd be fatigued after the Robredo match. If I'm not then something's probably not quite right with me; that would be a bit strange."

"I have to try to be realistic. I've played a lot of tennis the last few weeks but I've recovered well from the tough matches, which I wasn't doing earlier in the year. London is close, it would be nice to get there, but if not we'll get ready for 2015 and hopefully have a strong start there. We'll see."
