BRAEHEAD CLAN goaltender Mike Will has signed for Australian outfit Adelaide Adrenaline.

The 26-year-old, who is currently on duty with Team GB, will head Down Under to play for the semi-pro club who take part in the Australian Ice Hockey League.

Will has been back up during most of his time with Clan, most recently deputising for Kyle Jones.

Given that the Oz season begins in April and to the end of September, it is unclear whether Will's switch is a permanent or temporary one, with him due to arrive in Australia on May 9.

An Adrenaline statement said: "Mike is just completing his season in the EIHL playing for the Braehead Clan and has just been selected to represent Great Britain at the upcoming Division 1 Group B World Championships later this month in Lithuania.

"Will brings great size and composure to the team with plenty of experience having played for Braehead for the past four years and has also played College Hockey for Morrisville State College for two years."
