CHELSEA youngster Fikayo Tomori was left shamefaced after scoring a spectacular long-range own goal that denied England victory in their Under-20 World Cup clash against Guinea.
The young Lions had gone ahead thanks to Lewis Cook's opener, but the defender gifted their opponents a leveller just before the hour mark.
Tomori gathered the ball inside the centre circle, pivoted and fired a pass back towards his goalkeeper when under pressure from opposing forwards.
Unfortunately for the defender, he hadn't checked the positioning of his goalkeeper and the ball curled around Dean Henderson into the back of the net.
England remain top of Group A despite the setback after taking four points from their opening two games, although hosts South Korea can leapfrog them with a win over Argentina.
No look own goal from 40-yards out. Not bad from England U20s 😳pic.twitter.com/SRJXeYHjYI
