FORMER Manchester United and Sunderland manager David Moyes has been installed as the bookies' favourite to replace Gordon Strachan as Scotland manager.
Strachan's future in charge of the national team is under scrutiny after a draw against Slovenia on Sunday ended hopes of reaching the World Cup in Russia next summer.
With critics calling for the boss to step aside after a second successive failure to achieve qualification for a major tournament, bookies Betway have inserted Moyes as the favourite to replace him at 3/1.

Paul Lambert, Malky Mackay, Derek McInnes and Alex McLeish also feature on their list, with odds of 50/1 even being offered on Sir Alex Ferguson coming out of retirement to lead the Tartan Army.
Moyes made his name during an 11 year spell at Everton between 2002 and 2013 before making the move to United, but only lasted one season at Old Trafford.
He has since taken charge of Real Sociedad in Spain and Sunderland last season, but left the Black Cats in the summer following their relegation.
