I am sure he would have been looking forward to playing in the game against Holland tomorrow night, especially after that recent 6-0 friendly defeat to England.
From our point of view, it is good he hasn't gone away and risked making his injury any worse because he was struggling a bit with an ankle problem recently.
He had a similar injury last season and it is always a worry when he gets a kick on it, but hopefully the break will do him the world of good and he will be fit for the Aberdeen game on September 14.
It was a great achievement for him, and Stephen O'Donnell, to get call-ups to the squad while we were in the First Division last year.
Stuart has been named in a couple of squads again and his form for us has been fantastic so far.
I thought he was outstanding against St Mirren, he dominated the midfield driving forward and was superb defensively as well. I am sure there are plenty more big performances to come from him this season.
