QUEEN'S PARK are set to sign Partick Thistle striker Chris Duggan on loan until January.
The Jags kid is highly rated at Firhill and has turned in a series of impressive perfomances for Scott McKenzie's Development Squad following his move from Hamilton Accies last summer.
The arrivals of Ryan Stevenson and Nathan Eccleston have dropped him down the first-team pecking order this term after he spent pre-season with Alan Archibald's side.
And he will now be given a second crack at first-team football after joining the Spiders for the next few months.
Duggan had a short spell at Forfar last season as he scored once in six appearances for Dick Campbell's side and was handed a start for the trip to Ibrox in April.
After turning out for the Jags second string as they lost 3-0 to St Mirren on Tuesday night, Duggan could now make his League Two bow this weekend when QP face Elgin.
Gus MacPherson's side are currently eighth in the table having taken three points from their first four fixtures.
