NATHAN ECCLESTON made a scoring start to life at Partick Thistle as he helped the Jags' second string to victory over St Johnstone last night.
The striker was the only deadline-day arrival at Firhill and was handed his bow for Scott McKenzie's Development Squad, featuring for 72 minutes as he looks to get up to speed to feature for Alan Archibald's side after the international break.
The former Liverpool kid opened his Jags account after just 14 minutes, but it was fellow forward Chris Duggan who would steal the show as he netted a hat-trick, including a penalty, to clinch a 4-3 win for Thistle.
