IT was good to see James McFadden get himself a deal with St Johnstone and I'm sure all the boys here will be looking forward to playing against him on Saturday.

Faddy is still a quality player and a great lad. We enjoyed having him train with us for a few weeks this summer.

It benefited our boys to train alongside a player of his ability day in, day out.

He gelled really well with the lads and, as the sessions went on, it was good to see his fitness building and his sharpness coming back.

It will be good to see him again on Saturday, but hopefully he'll have one of his quieter days.

He has great quality, he is a real threat and we know that, if he does play, he is one we will have to watch out for.

But Faddy is not the only St Johnstone player we'll have to be wary of this weekend.

The Perth side have a lot of good players all over the park who can hurt you.

We'll need to be at our best to get the result and three points we want.

It is another big game for us, but one we are all looking forward to.
