LYLE TAYLOR will look to fire Montserrat into the next round of World Cup qualifiers when he makes his home bow for the Caribbean nation tonight.
The Partick Thistle striker marked his international debut with a goal in the 2-1 defeat to Curacao last week.
Having found the net and given Lenny Hewlett's side a fighting chance in the second leg, Taylor now has the chance to clinch a history making place in the second round for his adopted nation at the Blakes Estate Stadium.
SportTimes revealed earlier this month how the 25-year-old was eligible to play for Montserrat thanks to his grandparents, who were born on the island and moved to London in the 1940s.
Curacao are managed by Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert and were favourites to progress to the next phase with ease before the first leg.
But Jags star Taylor will now look to repeat his scoring heroics and upset the odds to move Montserrat into the second round, where they could come up against the likes of Cuba and El Salvador.
