Alan Archibald, the players and I are pleased at the position we find ourselves in after the opening 11 league games.
The boys have adapted to this level of football really quickly and I hope Thistle fans are happy with the performances the team has turned in.
I reckon we have given a good account of ourselves so far and had a number of really impressive showings.
Scottish football has had its detractors but I think the standard of the Premiership so far has been good.
There are a lot of teams who look to play the right way and it a really competitive league.
It is one we are more than holding our own in.
The players' commitment, work rate, attitude and performances have been excellent.
They have a lot of belief in themselves not just as a group but as individuals. You could look at things and say we could be a few points better off but most teams could say that at this stage.
There are certainly a lot more positives than negatives for us. The boys did so well last season to win the First Division and they have upped their game this season.
They have been getting a lot of plaudits from the Press and people in the game and they deserve it. They have shown no fear and proved they can play at this level and play the type of football Alan and I encourage.
We brought in a lot of good players during the summer but it is the guys who won promotion last year who have had most of the jerseys so far this season. Two of the men we signed, Isaac Osbourne and Kallum Higginbotham, have been excellent for us and we will see the quality of the other new boys as the campaign progresses.
I don't think there has been a particular highlight for me so far. The whole experience has been one everyone at the club has enjoyed and we are determined to continue the start we have made.
Every game in this league is a challenge to relish. The most pleasing thing has been the way the boys have performed week in week out.
The big disappointment so far has been the Aberdeen game. We didn't show up that day but you have to give credit to them for their display.
We are at Pittodrie on Monday night and hopefully we can give a better account of ourselves and get another win on the board.
It is hard to pick a favourite moment of the season so far and it is even more difficult to pick out a star man. It is a team game and, as a team, we have been really good.
The boys who have played have been excellent and you only need to look at our bench to see the strength in depth we have.
The only target we set ourselves was to stay in the league. It is an old cliche but we are taking it one game at a time.
We have shown we can hold our own in the Premiership but we are now coming into a really important stage of the season.
The weather changes and the pitches change over the Christmas period and we might have to adapt our game to suit.
We won't be looking ahead with any fear, though. We have shown we can compete with the best teams in Scotland and we are determined to keep up the standards we have set ourselves as the season continues.
