AFTER 18 months at Partick Thistle, Hugh Murray left the club on Monday and we all wish him well in the future.
He is a great lad and a good personality to have in the dressing room.
His playing time was limited at the start of the season and we all thought it would be best for him to go out on loan and by all accounts he did really well for Dumbarton while he was there.
We brought in a couple of midfielders in the summer and that meant it was harder for Shuggy to get himself in the team and now he has moved on permanently.
I am not sure what is happening with him yet but he might still come in and train with us if he can. Once he has got his next move sorted out, he is more than welcome to come in and keep himself fit and train with the squad. That is down to Shuggy.
He is certainly a big character and whoever gets him will be getting a very good player and a really good professional. As I say, we all wish him all the best and thank him for what he did for Thistle.
