Partick defender Stephen O'Donnell has knocked back a £100,000 move to Blackpool.
The Sky Bet Championship strugglers had a bid accepted by Thistle on Monday night.
But the Jags right-back - who is out of contract at the end of the season - has decided against switching to Bloomfield Road with the Seasiders rooted to the bottom of the table.
O'Donnell told the official Partick website: "It wasn't something that came down to money.
"My agent spoke to Blackpool and we decided that it just wasn't the right move for me at this time.
"I'm a Partick Thistle player and will be doing everything I can to make sure we finish as far up the table as possible, with top six still a very real possibility.
"I am happy where I am just now and am incredibly proud every time I pull on the Partick Thistle shirt.
"At this point I don't know what my future holds but the one thing I am certain of is that I will give my all for Partick Thistle as long as I am a player at the club."
