After his last injury, we have to make sure he is 100% fit before he comes back into contention.
Jordan trained last week and got some game time under his belt in a bounce game against St Mirren on Tuesday afternoon. He is looking a lot stronger and fitter but we are not going to rush him back.
When you miss a pre-season, it is hard to get yourself up to speed and he was eager to get back as quickly as he could.
He maybe pushed things a bit too quickly and when you have been out for a long time you can pick up problems elsewhere - even though your injury has healed.
Hopefully this time he will come back fully fit and ready. We will take things step by step.
He is an important player for us and one that we are keen to get back in the squad.
