Partick Thistle have signed 31-year-old goalkeeper David Crawford on a short-term deal after being hit by an injury crisis ahead of tonight's League Cup match at Airdrie.
Alan Archibald has drafted in the experienced keeper until January with regular number one Tomas Cerny yet to regain full fitness and Ryan Scully struggling to shake off a thigh injury.
Crawford, who has played for a host of clubs in Scotland's lower leagues and was with Alloa last season, is in line to start the match against Airdrie this evening.
The keeper has already lined up for Thistle in the friendly win against Morton at Cappielow, where he saved a Ross Forbes penalty.
