Staying put: Christie Elliott has extended his contract with Partick Thistle.
Partick Thistle utility man Christie Elliott has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at Firhill until the summer of 2019.
Elliott joined Thistle from Whitley Bay back in 2011, meaning that he will have clocked up eight years service if he sees out his new deal.
The 25-year-old has recently been playing at left-back, with his performances keeping Callum Booth out of team of late, but he has also filled in on the other side of the defence for the injured Mustapha Dumbuya earlier in the season as well as playing in attacking midfield on occasion.
