TOMAS CERNY has become the latest player to commit his future to Partick Thistle after putting pen-to-paper on an extension to his Firhill deal.
The Czech keeper has emerged as an integral part of Alan Archibald's plans since joining the Jags from Hibernian in January 2015.
He turned in a series of superb showings for Thistle as Archibald led his side to a top six finish in the Premiership last term.
And he has now agreed a one-year extension to his contract ahead of the new campaign.
The deal will see Cerny remain at Firhill until the summer of 2019 and is another boost for boss Archibald ahead of the big kick-off this summer.
Archibald has already strengthened his goalkeeping department with the capture of Jamie Sneddon from Cowdenbeath as he gets set to provide back-up to Cerny and Ryan Scully in the top flight this term.
Defender Niall Keown and winger Blair Spittal have also joined the Jags.
Thistle have returned from their pre-season training camp in Exeter and will play their final warm-up match of the summer when they face Dumbarton at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium this evening.
Archibald's side then begin their Betfred Cup campaign with a trip to newly-promoted Livingston on Saturday.
