Potter, in her first season as an under-23, climbed the podium at July's UK Trials & Championships to claim bronze in the 5000m in Birmingham.

The 19-year-old finished behind fellow Scot Eilish McColgan, in second, and winner Julia Bleasdale – more than making up for narrowly missing out on a medal at June's England Under-23 Championships.
