FORMER Rangers striker Kris Boyd has penned a three-year deal with Kilmarnock.
The forward returns to Rugby Park for a third spell with Killie following a disappointing season with the Ibrox side that saw him score just once since Christmas.
“I am delighted to have signed once again for Kilmarnock," said Boyd today.
"This is a great club for me. I feel I have done well here in the past and I am looking forward to getting fit and scoring more goals this time round.
"I really want to help the club get back to the top six- where it belongs.”
Gary Locke, the Kilmarnock manager, added: “I am over the moon to have secured Kris for Kilmarnock. As soon as I found out he was available, it was a no brainer and I was chasing him all summer.
"Kris’ track record at Kilmarnock speaks for itself, he’s a proven goal scorer.
"In addition to what he will do for us on the pitch this season he will also be able to work with the young strikers we have coming through. He’s a great role model.”
