FORMER Barcelona starlet Gai Assulin trained with Rangers at their Murray Park base this morning.
The Israeli midfielder began his career at the Nou Camp and also had a spell on the books of Manchester City.
After a loan spell with Brighton, the 24-year-old moved to Racing Santander, where he spent one season before joining Granada.
Assulin then spent another campaign out on loan with Hercules before joining Mallorca last summer.
The playmaker was put through his paces at Murray Park as boss Warburton prepares his squad ahead of the Championship clash with Queen of the South tomorrow.
Rangers are nine points clear in the second tier title race after a superb start to the season and are bidding for their tenth successive triumph when they host the Doonhamers.
