HIBERNIAN boss Alan Stubbs insists Rangers should be leading the way in the Championship this season – because Ibrox counterpart Mark Warburton has four times the budget than he does.
Stubbs’ side moved to within five points of the Light Blues at the top of the table with a 2-1 win at Easter Road on Sunday as they inflicted a first league defeat of the season on their promotion rivals.
Hibs will look to continue their impressive run of form when they face St Mirren this weekend and boss Stubbs said: "We're close to Rangers and you've got to remember that their budget is significantly bigger than anyone else in the league.
"I'd say it's at least four times bigger than ours, so they should be out there in front.
"Mark Warburton has done a really good job. They've had a fantastic start, so for us to only be five points behind speaks volumes about how we've done."
