MARK WARBURTON is pleased his Rangers squad recognise their dips in performances as the Championship leaders look to see off Raith tomorrow.
The Gers have beaten St Mirren and Dumbarton in comfortable 4-0 wins in recent days but haven’t been at their best throughout either Ibrox clash.
Warburton said: “First half on Tuesday, we didn’t show [our quality]. Saturday, I thought in the first half we were really good. It could have been four or five.
“Tuesday, we were sloppy, we were poor, the ball circulation was below level, our decision making was poor and, all round, below what we want as a squad of players.
“It wasn’t just me having a rant. Yes, I had a few words, so did David. But the players knew themselves and that is the most important thing.
“If they can recognise there is a problem and offer a solution, you saw their reaction, from the first whistle of the second half they were first class.”
