KENNY MILLER admits Rangers had the make the most of their time on top against Falkirk as Mark Warburton’s side slumped to another Championship defeat.

A controversial John Baird penalty and strike from Will Vaulks earned the Bairns victory on Saturday as Rangers failed to capitalise on Barrie McKay’s first half equaliser.

Defeat to Peter Houston’s side saw second-placed Hibs move level on points with the Gers in the standings ahead of the top of the table showdown on Monday.

And striker Miller was left frustrated with another mixed performance from the Light Blues as they dropped more crucial Championship points.

“There are some disappointed lads in there; we gave up two easy goals but the quality we have in that dressing room we should be able to deal with that and create more chances to get back into the game," he told rangers.co.uk.

“We got a goal back pretty quick and responded pretty well and I thought we were pretty dominant in the first half.

“When you lose a goal again in the second half it is always going to be an uphill struggle because they have something to hold onto.

“Wes (Foderingham) made some cracking saves to keep it at 2-1 and give us that opportunity but it clearly wasn’t our day.”
