FORMER Scotland star Duncan Ferguson has been declared bankrupt.
The football star - known a Big Dunc - played for Rangers and Dundee United and is now a first team coach at Everton.
It has emerged that a bankruptcy petition was filed against him by HMRC on December 1.
This was granted at the High Court in London on January 15, according to the London Gazette.
Ferguson joined Rangers in 1993 after the club paid a record £4 million for his transfer from Tannadice.
Two years later he spent 44 days in Barlinnie following an on-field assault against Raith Rovers' John McStay.
