JOE DODOO hopes Rangers can start building some Premiership momentum when they face Inverness Caley Thistle.

Mark Warburton’s side moved up to fifth spot in the standings with a 2-0 win over Partick Thistle before the international break.

A Betfred Cup clash with Celtic is on the horizon for the Light Blues and striker Dodoo is determined to return from the Highlands with a third league victory on the board.

“We won the last game and we need to make sure that we win this game also,” he told RangersTV.

“If we win this game, the momentum kicks on from there. It has been a bit of a slow start but we are kicking on now.

“It is key for us to get the three points and to try and put in a performance.

“We have to make sure we put in a performance but to get the three points is most important.”
