CLUB 1872 will back all 11 Resolutions put forward by the Rangers board at Friday’s Annual General Meeting.

Supporters and shareholders will gather at the Clyde Auditorium as Dave King chairs proceedings.

And the Gers board can count on the votes of the fans as they present their vision for the future at Ibrox.

Club 1872 became the fifth largest stakeholders in Rangers International Football Club plc earlier this month as they increased their shareholding to 6.25%.

Fans voted overwhelmingly to approve the re-appointments of King, Douglas Park, John Bennett, John Gilligan, Paul Murray and Graeme Park to the Light Blues board.

Chairman King received the support of 97.8% of members, while Douglas Park, Graeme Park and Bennett got 99% of the vote as 1% of supporters abstained.

Gilligan and Murray joined King in the boardroom in March 2015 as they brought the power struggle to an end by ousting the former Gers regime.

And Club 1872 will use their votes to help grant them another term in office after members gave them 98% and 96.6% support respectively.

The group will also vote for Resolution 11, which could see a new share issue launched as the rebuilding job continues on and off the park at Ibrox.

A statement read: “Club 1872 will now vote our shares and any shares proxied to us in accordance with the results set out above.

“We wish to thank the members who took part in the poll, and the wider membership for their continued support and contributions.”

Friday’s shareholder summit will be the second that King has led following his rise to power alongside Gilligan and Murray.

He is likely to face questions from the floor surrounding the ongoing situation and legal action with Sports Direct, while boss Mark Warburton could face probes over his summer signing strategy and the performance of his side in the Premiership this term.
