RANGERS midfielder Matt Crooks has joined Scunthorpe United on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Ibrox following his summer switch from Accrington Stanley.
Crooks made just three appearances for Mark Warburton's side and has seen Emerson Hyndman and Jon Toral join the Gers this week.
He will now spend the remainder of the campaign working under former Scotland defender Graham Alexander at Glanford Park.
Crooks said: “I’m buzzing to be here. I just can’t wait to get started now. There’s nothing like playing games, and that’s what I’ve come here to do.
“It’s been very stop-start (at Rangers). I was injured for all of pre-season and the start of the campaign, so I’ve not played much football.
“That’s what I’ve come here to do, to get some games under my belt again.”
