WES FODERINGHAM (6) Didn't have much to do until he picked the ball out of his net on 74 minutes. Pulled off a great double save soon after from an initial Carl McHugh shot to prevent Well grabbing a decisive second.

LEE HODSON (6) The man at right-back had a quiet afternoon as Motherwell targeted the Rangers left side. Kept it simple but didn't have huge impact.

ROB KIERNAN (5) Centre-half was all at sea for the opener by first playing Chris Cadden onside to cross then losing Louis Moult in the box.

CLINT HILL (6) Was the steadier of the two central defensive partners at the back.

LEE WALLACE (6) A steady head in defence but also got forward when he could. Contributed to patient build-up play.

ANDY HALLIDAY (6) Midfielder huffed and puffed but struggled to get into a flow against a hard-working Well midfield. Tried to break forward at times with little support.

JON TORAL (6) The on-loan Arsenal midfielder got his Rangers debut here and can be pleased with his early contributions. Seemed to stroll through the first half and looked composed on the ball, albeit with little urgency. Subbed after an hour.

JASON HOLT (6) Plenty of running and effort that is synonymous with the Rangers midfielder. His energy helped grind down Motherwell, but not much of a cutting edge. Replaced by debutant Emerson Hyndman on 73 minutes.

MICHAEL O'HALLORAN (7) Linked before the game with a loan switch to Motherwell, his pace and direct play caused havoc. Not much of an end product but should have won a first half penalty when tripped by Stevie Hammell. Replace by Martyn Waghorn on 71 minutes.

BARRIE McKAY (7) Rumours of a £6m move to RB Leipzig did little to put wee Baz off his game. Was a thorn in Richard Tait's side all afternoon and was unlucky with a few deliveries into the box. Looks more and more like the player we saw last season.

KENNY MILLER (8) It's Miller time... again. His man-of-the-match status goes way beyond his two late goals. He covered more ground than anyone and continuously dropped deep to build play.

SUBSTITUTES

JOSH WINDASS (5) On for Toral with just under half an hour to play, added an urgency at a key time to revitalise Rangers.

MARTYN WAGHORN (6) Keen to impress when introduced on 71 minutes. A pest down the right side and deliverer of outstanding ball for Miller's leveller.

EMERSON HYNDMAN (4) On just a minute before Well's opener, provided killer pass to unlock Motherwell defence at the death for winner.
